Finding Area Bounded Between Curves

Definite integrals could be used to find the area that is bounded between the curves. In order to calculate this area, we would have to establish the boundaries, a and b, which are the x-values of the curve intersection points that bound the area of interest. After we have found the boundaries, we need to use the formula,                , where f(x) represents the function on top and g(x) represents the function on the bottom.

Find the area bounded by

Since the intersections happens when x=-0.7 and when x=0.7. Those two values will be our a and b value.
