This primary source is derived from Mingxue Zheng, the author of the project. This personal interview with the program director will be incorporated in the documentary. Sundrop would give an overview on the recent events and accomplishments of the program. It will include an overview of the Dream Act, the Equity program, and ICE. This source is reliable because it was created by the author and contains interview questions that were created by the author as well. There are no subjective materials in the interview (opinions based on the interview).

It is derived from history.com. It focuses on the causes and effects of the Chinese Exclusion Act. For example, the causes of the Chinese Exclusion Act was because of the job competition between Americans and the Chinese after the California Gold Rush. The complaints of Californians make the government limit the number of future Chinese immigrants. After this law was passed, Chinatown was created to unite the Chinese and helped the Chinese isolate themselves from the Americans. This source provides in-depth information about one of the major immigrant limitation acts against a single ethnicity. The information would be in a “More info” page after the U.S. Immigration Laws page if the viewers are interested in learning more about this act. This source is reliable because it provides objective information. It is not an article with a thesis or written from any stand of point.

This source is derived from the Dream Act 2013. It provides an overview of the Dream Act. It includes the eligibilities and requirements of undocumented immigrants who wish to benefit from the Dream Act. It includes links to the recent development of the bill in the Senate. This source will be included as a background information page for interested viewers. Since, the documentary is closely intertwined with the Dream Act, the valuable information within this article should not be taken out. This article will also be helpful in writing the introduction script for the documentary. This source is reliable because it provides factual information regarding the Dream Act. It does not contain opinions of undocumented immigrants or any other subjective information.

It also includes various types of immigration, such as employment-based immigration with either temporary or permanent visas. It also defines refugees and asylees. It contains a simplified process for obtaining a U.S. citizenship. It introduces the Diversity Visa Program for countries that have few immigrants to the U.S. This website will be incorporated into the website in a “More info” page if viewers are interested to bring their loved ones or themselves to the U.S. or immigrants who have any concerns in obtaining a green card or a citizenship after the documentary. This source is credible because it is from an organization that is involved in the immigration processes. The information is, therefore, factual and trusted.

This source is derived from the University of California of Los Angeles. It provides an extensive review of the Dream Act. Instead of focusing on the eligibilities and the requirements, it includes a more detail review of people with higher level graduation that might qualify for the act. The review will then be used to predict the number of benefits from the Dream Act. This source could be incorporated into the project in the introduction section of the Dream Act page. It gives viewers a perspective of the Dream Act’s range of impact within the undocumented community. This source is reliable because it provides statistical data without much subjective information.

This source is from the Pennsylvania Immigration & Citizenship Coalition. It provides a basic overview of PICC. It includes the program’s events and news. For interested viewers who wished to become volunteers, this website would be a good spot to be informed and get sign up. It is a great website for volunteers to be updated on current events. This source gives me a lot of valuable photos of the different events that I could use in my documentary and in my website. It will also help me to write the intro of the PICC page. This source is mainly factual and reflects the author’s experiences within the program.

This primary source is derived from Mingxue Zheng, the author of the project. This personal interview with the program coordinator is incorporated in the documentary. The interview helps to bring more volunteers to the program by explaining the types of projects the volunteers will do. Her contact info will be up on the website for prospective volunteers. Her contribution to the project will bring in more volunteers and would answer any volunteer-related questions. As an advocacy member, her knowledge of current issues that the immigrants are facing and the recent immigration campaigns is boundless.

This primary source is derived from Mingxue Zheng, the author of the project. This personal interview with the intern from the program is incorporated in the documentary. The interviews help to convey that internships are also possible within the program. Taja would give an overview of the things that did in the program. Her responses will help to grab in more volunteers and interns. She will also give her views on the current immigrant society and the current issues that the immigrant community face. This source is reliable because it was created by the author and contains first-hand materials with no additional secondaries contributions or opinions added.

This source helps to provide background information for the audience to digest before diving into the documentary. It also helps to scale out U.S. involvement with immigrants throughout history. The information provided would be presented before the U.S. Immigration Laws page. This source is reliable because it provides objective information. It was from a credible history website with no firm thesis.

This data will be analyzed to see how much attention or how knowledgeable the general public is to immigration reform. This source is reliable because it does not contain secondary additions to the statistics collected from the public.

It could be also used to determine how school authorities help incoming immigrants with their language and help them adapt to the new learning environment. This source is reliable because it does not contain secondary additions to the statistics collected from the public.

This survey could help people think about being volunteers by providing the contact info of PICC. This source is reliable because it does not contain secondary additions to the statistics collected from the public. The responses will not be altered in any way.
